CORROSION IS INEVITABLE

Several factors play a part in the corrosion of piping systems in the Lower Mainland. Acidic water pumped through the pipes with continuous pressure, inferior piping, pipes installed under the old building code, electrolysis and poor installation practices are some. Once a piping system is plagued with corrosion, pinholes and leaks, a ‘bandaide’ solution of rubber and clamps will not take care of the problem. It will be an on-going and costly temporary solution. The only cost effective and sensible solution is to perform a piping replacement in the Building.
